"There is definitely something strange about the Buggulin Crater!"

Sun Cheng couldn't contain his excitement. The book he found, called "Interesting Earth," was an autobiographical novel written by an American under the pen name "Bert Quinton."

Returning to the front desk on the first floor with the book, he searched the internet on the computer and found that he couldn't find any information about Bert Quinton. Obviously, he was not a well-known American author.

However, the book verified some of his thoughts. The two professors mentioned in the book, Brewster and Claremont, should refer to Neville Otavian Brewster and Wallace Wilson Claremont, whom Sun Cheng had just found in the school history.

The book undoubtedly proved that the two of them had launched a scientific research expedition against the Buggulin Crater in 1912, and they had definitely found a meteorite there, a meteorite that shocked everyone who saw it.

That meteorite must have something strange about it, otherwise, no one would have proposed to move it and hide it for research.

In this way, all the scattered clues could be connected.

The reason why Brewster and Claremont resigned from the University of Arizona the following year was due to the intervention of the U.S. government. As the discoverers of the mysterious meteorite, the two of them joined a government agency and began to study the meteorite.

As for why Bert Quinton suddenly lost contact with Professor Brewster a few years later, it was probably because the professor had exposed the location of the meteorite.

"Black Gorge? It seems necessary to go there."

After carefully flipping through the book and confirming that there was no record about the Buggulin Crater, Sun Cheng quickly threw the book on the desk and searched the internet for information about "Black Gorge."

There are no cities named "Black Gorge" in the United States, but there are two towns, one in Wyoming and the other in Colorado.

Interestingly, he even found that the canyon located at the junction of Nevada and Arizona, where the Hoover Dam is located, is also called "Black Gorge."

After memorizing the locations of the three "Black Gorges" he found, Sun Cheng quickly turned off the computer.

"Hoover Dam? It doesn't seem far from Onslaught's base..."

With a thought, he had made a decision and was ready to go to the Hoover Dam first. During these days of exploration, Sun Cheng also felt that his new mechanical body was strong, but not perfect, with some minor problems. He planned to ask Onslaught to help him fix them.

Finally, he found a suspicious clue about the All Spark, and his mood began to improve. He soon left the University of Arizona.

Avoiding the National Guard patrolling the streets, Sun Cheng deliberately chose to leave Tucson from another direction far from Starscream's base.

After leaving the University of Arizona, he relaxed his vigilance and inadvertently exposed himself to a machine that looked like an ordinary electric meter placed in a corner.

"Beep beep beep beep..."

When the machine suddenly made a loud "beep" alert tone, Sun Cheng suddenly felt a sharp increase in his sense of crisis. Reacting, he subconsciously glanced at the machine and saw a pointer labeled "21" that was constantly shaking. His Spy Template immediately captured fluctuations from several surveillance devices.

"Warning...warning, D4G19 area radiation detector has detected an abnormal energy target!"

Not far away, a commercial van that Sun Cheng thought was parked normally on the roadside suddenly emitted a piercing communication signal, and the door was quickly opened. He immediately saw three or four strong men in black suits, each holding a weapon, rushing out.

"Suspicious target detected..."

The leading black-clad man saw Sun Cheng, who had nowhere to hide, at a glance, and while he was on guard, he rushed towards Sun Cheng, threatening, "This is the office of the Seventh District of the United States. Stay there and don't move..."

"Uh oh..."

Sun Cheng's heart sank. Before entering the city, he had found that the National Guard was on guard in Tucson, but he didn't expect that the Americans could make a machine that could detect Decepticons in such a short time.

However, he didn't plan to be caught by the U.S. government and dissected. After quickly activating all the functions of the Spy Template, he immediately transformed from humanoid form to beast form and ran away without saying a word.

"Damn it, he's trying to run!"

The black-suited man immediately shouted and raised his UMP45, firing at Sun Cheng. "Da da da..."

The crisp sound of gunfire quickly caused a commotion in the area.

But Sun Cheng's troubles had just begun. Just as he had managed to shake off the black-suited men, he soon heard a piercing roar coming from the sky. Shortly after, several blinding spotlights locked onto him.

"Warning...intruder, stop running immediately and stay where you are..."

"This is the last warning, stop resisting and stay where you are..."

"All alert units, take note. A high-energy radiation target has been detected in the D4G19 area, and the target is fleeing towards the D5 area. Try to capture it..."

The Spy Template detected multiple communication signals from nearby humans, but Sun Cheng was terrified to find that even though he had increased his speed to the limit, it was difficult for ground units to lock onto him in the city.

However, the US military's armed reconnaissance aircraft could use their advantage of high altitude and high mobility to lock onto his position and continue firing at him from above.

"Da da da da da..."

The tongues of flame from above were difficult to harm Sun Cheng's mechanical body, and his opponent seemed to realize this after a few attempts. However, they did not change their weapon and seemed to have decided to capture him.

After enduring a few more hits, Sun Cheng realized that his mechanical body was starting to have trouble. He became anxious and began to consciously evade the attacks.

But this slowed down his escape speed.

"Boom!"

Finally, after several warnings failed to make him stop, as he approached the outskirts of the city, the threat from above began to escalate.

With a violent explosion, Sun Cheng, who had eaten a ground-to-air missile at close range, tumbled through the air before falling back to the ground.

One of the armed helicopters seemed to have decided he had no combat capability and lowered its altitude, continuing to shout at him, "Last warning, intruder, stop resisting and stay where you are..."

Sun Cheng shook his head and checked the spot on his back where a piece of shrapnel had torn through, feeling no pain. He casually pulled out the shrapnel from his mechanical body.

As two armed helicopters continued to circle him in the sky and four more were approaching, he suddenly saw a manhole cover not far away. He quickly released an insect scout to investigate and his eyes lit up.

There was no denying that the Americans had done an impressive job with their underground pipeline projects, which crisscrossed the entire city. Cities like Tucson were even better protected.

Immediately, he summoned two rapid-fire machine guns from his mechanical body and accurately fired at the low-flying armed reconnaissance aircraft. Sun Cheng then jumped and ran quickly to the manhole cover, suddenly transforming back into his human form. He pulled up the cover and threw it aside, leaping into the sewer.
