The White-Backed Demon Wolves, leading two of their kind, hadn't managed to escape far when they encountered a group of Golden Core Cultivators blocking their path.

Leading this blockade was Wang Hong, at the helm of more than a dozen Golden Core Cultivators who had long been lying in ambush.

"If I'm not mistaken, Fellow Daoist, you're also a disguise from the Human Clan, right? We've come this far; there's no need for pretense," Wang Hong remarked, neither confirming nor denying the allegation. He believed that killing them directly was the only language that mattered at this point.

With a wave of his hand, the group behind him summoned their respective magic weapons. One particular group of five individuals merged their Flying Swords into a single sword nearly twenty feet long. This technique of combining five Flying Swords into a single, immensely powerful blade originated from the hands of Chen Xiaofeng. He had devised this set of magic weapons to facilitate cooperative combat among members of both teams, enabling them to unite against their foes.

The idea had struck him one day to design a set of magic weapons that multiple individuals could control separately but could combine into a single weapon when needed. When combined, the Flying Sword drew spiritual power from all five individuals but was controlled by a single person, significantly boosting its effectiveness.

"Split up and run!" White-Backed Demon Wolves shouted as they witnessed the colossal Flying Sword slashing toward them. They chose different directions to escape, displaying remarkable speed.

Wang Hong's figure blurred and appeared in front of the White-Backed Demon Wolves. They didn't engage Wang Hong in battle but swiftly changed direction to flee once more.

At that moment, the massive Flying Sword, with boundless momentum, was on the verge of striking them, almost within arm's reach.

The White-Backed Demon Wolves extended a claw toward the Flying Sword, and that claw instantly enlarged as it swung at the colossal blade.

With a deafening roar, the two clashed, creating countless sparks and raising a dust storm around them. Astonishingly, the Demon Wolves withstood the impact, emerging unscathed. It was truly a top-tier third-tier Demonic Beast.

In fact, this particular Demon Wolves had already reached the peak of the third tier. One more step and it would ascend to the fourth tier, becoming a formidable four-tier Demonic Beast.

Handling the combined attack of five Early Golden Core Stage Cultivators posed no problem for it. Its claw had been tempered and nurtured to the point where it was no different from a cultivator's magic weapon.

As the Demon Wolves saw Wang Hong closing in again, it changed direction once more, with only one Golden Core Cultivator blocking its path.

Approaching swiftly, it struck out with a claw, sending both the Cultivator and their shield flying. The Cultivator was flung a considerable distance before landing on the ground. Despite having a shield for defense, they still suffered internal injuries, and the shield displayed two fine cracks.

The White-Backed Demon Wolves pushed its speed to the limit and soon broke free from the encirclement. The Core Building Cultivators who had just entered this stage were vastly outmatched by its strength and were unable to stop it.

Only Wang Hong pursued relentlessly. Although his shifting positions technique was not suitable for long-distance pursuit, he had sufficient Spirit Wine to replenish his spiritual power, making him unconcerned about energy consumption.

He quickly caught up with the White-Backed Demon Wolves and summoned a Binding Spirit Rope, attempting to ensnare the creature. However, the Demon Wolves displayed remarkable agility, continuously evading the binding attempts.

"Hehe, do you really think I'm afraid of you? It's nothing more than fear of your collaboration with the others," Wang Hong sneered.

White-Backed Demon Wolves stopped running altogether at this point and instead lunged towards Wang Hong, delivering a claw strike. The power behind this claw was formidable enough to withstand the combined might of Five People.

Just then, as its claw closed in on Wang Hong, thirty-six vibrant, emerald-green leaves materialized in front of him. One of these leaves suddenly enlarged, blocking the claw's path.

With this, the force behind the claw dissipated into nothingness, leaving the White-Backed Demon Wolves somewhat astonished. It couldn't comprehend the nature of this magical weapon that effortlessly deflected its attack.

Wang Hong didn't wish to waste any more time with it and decided to test the power of his newly refined Lifebound Magical Treasure.

Instantly, a fiery-red Flying Sword manifested in front of him, hovering in the air. With a mere thought, Wang Hong directed the Flying Sword towards the White-Backed Demon Wolves.

Before the Flying Sword could reach its target, the Demon Wolves sensed an intense heat closing in. Just as it attempted to raise its claw in defense, a burst of flames erupted from the Flying Sword, engulfing it.

The flames were swift, catching the Demon Wolves off guard. It experienced excruciating pain from the searing heat, realizing in terror that its body was gradually fading away, helpless to stop it.

Wang Hong watched as the Demon Wolves slowly dissolved into nothingness. Without delay, he retrieved the Flying Sword, which carried a Storage Bag. He narrowly prevented the Storage Bag from being incinerated as well.

As the leader of the Demon Wolves clan and a top-tier third-tier Demonic Beast, the Storage Bag presumably held valuable items.

A moment later, apart from the rescued Storage Bag, the White-Backed Demon Wolves vanished completely.

Wang Hong swiftly flew back and found the other two third-tier Demonic Beasts, which he had left behind earlier, now slain on the ground. Several of his subordinates were busy collecting the Demon Wolves' remains.

"East Master!"

Upon Wang Hong's return, the group of Golden Core Cultivators respectfully saluted.

"Let's go! We're heading back to celebrate our victory!"

With those words, Wang Hong led his team back.

As for the battlefield involving Mortals and low-tier Demonic Beasts, it was nearing its end, with only a few Demonic Beasts left being pursued.

Meanwhile, in the territory of the Demon Wolves clan, three Golden Core Cultivators emerged.

Leading them was Ling Shuai, accompanied by Ling Xue and Jia Liang, all of them belonging to the Revival Battle Team. Originally, this task had nothing to do with them, as Wang Hong had entrusted the occupation of the Enemy Nest to the East Zhou team. However, due to persistent requests from the Revival Battle Team, Wang Hong eventually assigned them the mission.

Ling Shuai had received the task, accompanied by his daughter, but to his dismay, Jia Liang had persistently insisted on joining them. Ling Shuai had to suppress the urge to stab him and reluctantly allowed him to come along.

"Demonic Beasts have left this area. Let's first go in and eliminate any remaining live ones, then clean up the supplies and secure them. We'll wait for East Master's team to come for inspection," Ling Shuai instructed.

With that, the three of them confidently made their way toward the Demon Wolves clan's lair.

Simultaneously, a similar scenario unfolded outside the territory of the Demon Bull clan.

Three Golden Core Cultivators surveyed the area for any dangers and proceeded towards the nest.

After the battle, Yunxia Mountain was littered with various supplies, especially piles of Demonic Beast carcasses. Sloppy Old Daoist moved among the piles, tirelessly working.

He needed to separate the more palatable parts of the Demonic Beasts before they went to waste. Among the harvest, he favored the Demon Bulls the most. Their meat was of the highest quality—while wolf meat was delicious, it tended to be dry and less appetizing.
