Around this same time, the guy who plays the Alpha also played a civilian who gets killed by vampires in The Vampire Diaries. Which is a really kickass show, by the way.

I was reading some of the comments, as before I was getting into the season, and catching up with you. And yes, the loss of Bobby is huge. But season 7 is kind of a secret favorite of mine. It's an off season, yes. But I loved having it more focused on the brothers again, and for the most part-there was more honesty, and communication. And finally the MOW cases being back was very refreshing to me.

sorry that was meant to be in the Charlie episode. Which is another major highlight fo rme. But this is better than season 6-imo.

I think season 8 is where I fell out with the show. I’m also someone who was in it for the smaller, sibling based, MOTW episodes, though I understand why they had to keep expanding the world after so many seasons. Season 7 feels kind of quaint in retrospect.

actually same. I am catching up-and going to work through season 8, because I hear such good things about season 9. But yes, I really missed the MOTW and the brother bond. I do love the lore, and also understand about expanding of the world. But I missed the vintage SPN style of it all.
