Before I say anything else, I hope, Jess, that you’ve been having a most lovely break. Regarding Hamilton, my experience with this is similar to what you said in that I've not had the good fortune to see it live, nor had I ever gotten around to really listen to the music for this prior to seeing this filmed presentation. I do remember seeing with my dad the Tony awards when Hamilton won big and became the second biggest winner in Tony history behind only The Producers. It was a really fun night that night. The cast in this is most impressive. I think my favorite was between Leslie Odom Jr as Burr and Christopher Jackson as Washington, though there’s also a bit of a soft spot for Jonathan Groff as King George III. I would say it’s weird that John Adams never appeared, but then again, who do you get to play him that’s going to be as fantastic as William Daniels was. In fact, I believe that was Lin-Manuel Miranda’s reason for not having Adams appear onstage. If I recall correctly, he said something to the effect that the show would simply mention Adams, and the audience will instantly envision William Daniels in the role because William was simply that iconic when he played the role in the musical 1776 and its subsequent film adaptation. I share your frustration with the technical difficulties. When it happened the first time, I even said, “Wha- Son of a... All right, the first act was JUST about to wrap up! Couldn’t the technical difficulties have waited ONE goddamn minute?!” The second time it happened, I said, “Magnanimous though it is for the technical difficulties to not interrupt the Eleven O'clock Number of the show, this thing was almost done! Why is this happening again?! Goddamn it!!” I loved your post-reaction thoughts, particularly concerning the discussion of legacy and ambition. I too gravitated towards the ambition presented in this. We’re both Slytherins, you and I, so it makes sense that the ambition would strike a chord for both of us. I hear you on the, as you described it, mulling something over for four years before making a move. You make a fair observation about Angelica’s plotline about her feelings for Hamilton. Also, no need to apologize for the nasally situation as it was not a nuisance in anyway. It would be nice to see Hamilton live one day, until then, I like how Disney+ is presenting this filmed recording. I hear that they are going to stream a filmed version of the Broadway musical of Aladdin, I’m very much looking forward to that. And mind you that’s regardless of whether you wish to react to that or not as I’ll be seeing it when it premieres on Disney+ either way. Thanks for this reaction, and I again say that I hope that you're having a most enjoyable and restful break. Take care, Jess.

I was lucky enough to see the show live, though after the original cast left. And it was incredible powerful seeing Javier Munoz, who has had AIDS and cancer through most of his life, repeatedly saying "I imagine death so much, it feels more like a memory."

It's not clear if you noticed that in addition to the three really noticeable doubled roles between the two acts, the same actress (Jasmine Cephas Jones, the daughter of William from This Is Us!) plays Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds. And if you're wondering why Peggy disappears after Act 1, she sadly died young.

I hope you're okay Jess? It's very important to us all that you're starting to feel better after the break. We'll stay tuned. Burn outs take a while to work through, knowing that from personal experience. Moving also. I hope Rocco is doing well in the new place, plus I hope that, whatever he got hold of, hasn't affected him in the long run. You both need some TLC, so take whatever time you need. If making more videos re-energizes, then we're grateful for your company. Best wishes. Josef.

Not 100% my cup of tea I have to be honest. I'm sure it's very good & I wouldn't seek to take that away from anyone who might like it - it's simply that I'm un-apologetically a hard core sci-fi & horror geek! I did, however, want to stop by in the comments here just to see if all is ok with you. You have looked notably tired during the last months worth of reactions & after your video about needing to take time out, I simply want to say that I'm 100% behind you taking a well deserving rest & enjoy some quality 'you' time! Far be it for me to offer advice to anyone (what do I know lol!) but if I was doing a channel & found myself that drained, I would come back at a slower pace, i.e what I usually did in one week, I'd stretch to two. I can't see a single one of your true supporters objecting to that & certainly no complaints from me. Your reactions are always worth the wait because they're the best! Best, James.

Thank you for this treat but I'm glad you're taking a break, because I was getting worried about you. I know you filmed this before your break. I hope you have found time to recharge and relax and have fun!
