I'm so looking forward to seeing your reaction to Genesis of the Daleks which is arguably one of the best stories in classic who!

2023-04-06 03:01:51 Apart from where we get a multi-villain get-together perhaps as a team-up and eventual betrayal etc that's all part of the overall plot, one type of alien invasion we've rarely if ever see even in other sci-fi shows, is where we have a double alien invasion that's purely coincidental and unrelated to each other except that the invasions are happening at the same time but both factions are initially unaware of each other till they actually detect each other and/or cross paths, obviously 'Army of Ghosts' & 'Doomsday' are the closest we've gotten to this but even then the Cybermen where riding on the coat-tails of the Daleks, thus it doesn't exactly count with what I mean, (there's a 4th Doctor one that's kind of like this as well but that's spoiler territory), both invasions must be totally independent of each other, as I can tell this has never happened in Doctor Who in it's purest form and in most other franchises and shows, almost always one invasion after another with no accidental and unrelated crossover, imagine if Axos returned and attacked Earth again but this coincided with a certain something, that's eating everyone or something along those lines... hmm, I wonder..?
