For most of this season, I was liking it, but also thinking it felt weirdly detached from the first three seasons with this whole new villain. But then we get this episode that beautifully ties the entire story tighter than it’s ever been before. Of course, it’s highly doubtful the Duffers actually had all this in mind when they started, but it still all fits together great and they clearly put a lot of effort into having it all make sense.
