Never seen any of these movies before. I’d heard they were well received; I just never actually saw them before. I share your surprise at how overwhelmingly these movies won on the last poll. First impressions are that it was a decent enough film. You know, you have a nice time. The animation was great. Visually stunning, though that’s to be expected when Roger Deakins is a visual consultant. Screamed a little seeing his name in the credits as I was unaware that he was involved with these movies. Given the volume of dragon attacks they say they suffer you would think that the village would have made hiring Bard the bowman first on their list of priorities. As to why Hiccup has the different accent then his dad, maybe the filmmakers thought it’d be funny? Romance subplot felt tacked on. So, I wouldn’t say I liked this as much as you did. Going by how much I’ve heard people say that they loved it, I definitely didn’t like it as much as it seems everybody else did. Still, as I say this was decent enough and I’m curious as to what happens in the rest of the series. Maybe my opinions will change, though people have told me this was the best of the trilogy, so, it could go a few different ways. In any case, I’m happy to see that you enjoyed this as much as you did, and it was a fun reaction. Thanks, Jess.

Super happy you enjoyed the movie Jess toothless is so damn cute after all he was designed with a cat in mind 😻 the music throughout this trilogy is incredible, all three movies are fantastic imo so looking forward to seeing how you like the next one 👌
