Oh, man... I want to hug you after the reaction, altough I was exicided for this reaction! Honestly, for me this episode is even sadder now that I have expierenced a few loses myself...

So, I saw the comments two weeks ago saying that this episode would be rough and that it would yield a strong reaction. After seeing your reaction, I’m saying, “Ok. That was not an exaggeration.” I would have been more suspicious of the gun being able to kill Lucifer. I’d say, “How do I know this’ll even work. Last I saw the Omen trilogy, they say you need a specific set of daggers to kill the Devil’s son. You’re saying this random gun will get the job done?” You’re right that Lucifer does a very effective job getting Sam to relate to him, and again showcases how the Devil uses the truth to try to get what he wants. I would agree that that line, “Mom. This might literally be your last chance to treat me like an adult. You might want to take it?” is I would say, the line that gets you the most. It feels like I say this a lot: You keep apologizing for how much you’re crying, and I say that there is no apology necessary. These are characters you really love. It’s only natural that what happens to them would be something that makes you cry as much as you did. Using myself as an example, there are certain character deaths in film, tv, etc. that I can’t even think about without wanting to break down crying. Whenever something like what happened to Ellen and Jo happens and it gets you to cry as much as you did, it shows just how much you love certain characters, and it is nothing to be ashamed of. I wish I could say next week’s episode will be more lighthearted to lift your spirits after how rough this episode was. But one, I don’t know what happens next, and two, given this episode’s ending, I would imagine it shall be a while until we get another lighthearted episode.

I agree 100% when i first saw this 12 yrs ago and the 100s of times since like you it still so so sad and anger inducing! I do however want to let you know if you search Supernatural 5x10 photo its in images on google bing whatever you use for your search engine!
