A bit of an odd experience to see you recognize a character from Clone Wars moving into live action.

So, my complaint from last week applies to this week as well, albeit not as bad due to the fact that Boba does actually appear, however briefly. Also, we have Mark Hamill as Luke which helps soften the blow. Still, the first part of the episode I’m checking my watch and sounding like Jeff Goldblum saying, “Ah, now eventually you do plan to have Boba Fett on the, on The Book of Boba Fett show, right? Hello? Hello? Yes?” Again, like last week, this episode was remarkable. Though I seem to be one of the few people who had zero problems with Luke’s portrayal in the sequel trilogy, I must concede that it is immeasurably satisfying seeing the manner in which Luke has been portrayed both on The Mandalorian and here on The Book of Boba Fett. It reminds me of his appearance in the game Jedi Outcast and it brought tears to my eyes. I agree that when the show plays the John Williams music, in this episode the music being Yoda’s Theme or Binary Sunset, it hits you right in the heart. A surprise to see Ahsoka. I had suspected we would see Cobb Vanth again. Seeing the beskar mithril, I said, “Figured it’d be something like that.” I lost it seeing Cad Bane make his live action debut. I still haven’t figured out who is physically portraying him, but I love that we have Corey Burton providing the voice again, and I said, “Please, PLEASE, if there’s any justice, tell me this means that Jim Cummings will voice Hondo if he makes his live action debut somewhere down the line!” Your reaction to Cad’s appearance was a highlight of the reaction. Of course, you were reminded of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly as Cad was inspired by Lee Van Cleef as Angel Eyes from that movie. As to the ending scene, option A: Grogu takes up Yoda’s saber (which when and where the hell did Luke acquire that?) and stays with Luke, or option B: Grogu takes the beskar mithril and gets to be with his dad again. I’m going with Grogu picks option B. Both this week’s episode and last week’s episode, in spite of my personal problems with them, I’ve found that your reactions to both went a long way in alleviating those problems and has made me appreciate the episodes more than I would have without your reactions, and I thank you for that, Jess. My only predictions for the finale are that the episode will be insane, and that it will be a fantastic reaction which I will be looking forward to both with great interest.

I've been wondering for a while if Hondo is still alive in the time after episode 6? I really have no idea how old his species can get... But I would also like to see him in live action! :D - he's great! :)

This show should have had a more generic title, like Gangs of Tatooine.

Fuck Luke. (not really but also kinda!)
