If I had a nickel for every time Ewan McGregor played a character who has a love interest named Satine, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice. Ever since you expressed that you wanted to see episodes with prominent focus on Obi-Wan, I knew that when we got to these episodes that you were going to love them. I especially knew that you were going to be very invested in the relationship between Obi-Wan and Satine. I love Anakin in the scenes where he watches the two interact and he’s like the little brother who’s got the front row seat with a big tub of buttery popcorn. When Ob-Wan says that Satine is not his girlfriend, I sounded like my dad and said, “Well Obi-wan, is she a girl? Is she your friend? Yes? Well then, she’s your girlfriend.” When it comes to being the king of sass, that title doesn’t go to Obi-Wan, that title belongs to Palpatine, though admittedly he’s far more dry and subtle when it comes to the sass, for now. Again, even though it’s not meant to be positive, I still get a big smile when I hear the Imperial March in this show. I’m reminded how much I like Jon Favreau as Pre Vizsla. Rather fitting that he then goes on to oversee The Mandalorian. Mandalorian culture has a very strong warrior mentality, and they often relish the opportunity of the challenge of a good fight, hence why Viszla gives Obi-Wan his lightsaber back. There’s also the fierce rivalry between the Jedi and the Mandalorians that dates back millennia prior to the Prequel era. I remember when Minister Almec, the witless worm that he is, claimed that Jango Fett was not a Mandalorian, I and many other fans became very angry. Subsequently, we felt vindicated when Boba settled the matter in The Mandalorian. Absolutely loved your reactions to these episodes.
