Thanks for another great reaction. It's interesting you note about how the Second Doctor might have focussed more on trying to find his companion. I'm guessing with the Third Doctor, he's now in a situation where he effectively has a lot more resources in the form of the Brigadier & UNIT rather than say one of his companions going missing on an Alien planet. I think a bit of it is that Liz is very capable as you mention & that the Third Doctor does keep his composure a lot more. He certainly has a very different approach to that of the Second Doctor. I love this story for the fact it just keeps you guessing.
