This is an interesting episode. There is SO much going on with the boys and the fall out from John. I think the boys are instinctively leaning on each other. I love how Sam supports Dean. Yes he gave him some harsh truth, but Dean did need to hear what Sam said. Of course he hits Sam because it was all too close to home. He lashes out and Sam lets it slide because he know what Dean is going through. That was a great reaction and as I said on You Tube I love your breakdowns at the end. I finally joined you on Patreon and have been able to sync the show with your reaction!

Yiiii. I adore this because it's both about Sam and Dean, Dean in very obvvvvvious ways since we tend to follow him more than baby bro. But yeah, something I notice with "shades of gray" in monsters is that, just beneath the surface? Sam identifies with them. And pft, as if he'd ever swing back unless he was 100% wronged, and it kinda worries me that he's so familiar with turning the other cheek. As for Dean, yeah, man, it's so sad that he needs someone to fill the role of his father in order to be content. That he immediately accepts this pure-binary stranger as the substitute superior, oiii.
