In the first episode she said this is a love story. A fun way of thinking about it is wondering between who. Is it between fleabag and the priest, fleabag and Clare, the priest and god or some other relationship? On another note, when I watched this the first time I considered the fourth wall to be us. The imaginary audience that she’s imagined to make life more bearable. So when priest sees us it’s an emotional intimacy that she isn’t comfortable with. Love seeing you react to this show.
