Toasted Toad

Not watched your reaction yet, just had to comment after your pre-amble. "Calm your tits, it's free content" 😂😂😂😂 I think that's the funniest thing I've heard on any reaction!! You tell 'em!! I'm dying for you to watch more than one a week, but I've been through this with other reactors and can be patient. I think part of the reason people want you to watch more than one a week is because they want you to get onto the good stuff. Maybe you'll have time at a later date, who knows?

Okay, watched your reaction now. Pretty straightforward episode - nothing to write home about, really. As usual, I really enjoyed your comments. You really get these characters (or as much as you can do with what the programme has given you so far - there will be much more). I know that in these early stages of the show, Dean is pictured as having a bit of a one track mind. But let's face it, he is 26 and single. I think he's also being written this way to serve as a greater contrast to Sam who has just come out of a long term relationship in a pretty devastating way. You might also notice the difference between what Dean says and what he does. He is eyeing the girls, but leaves the party withhout hesitation to go dig up a body in a graveyard. Duty first. And it's a self-imposed responsibility. He's certainly not being paid to do it (and, as they point out, they are rarely even thanked). And he was doing anything but creeping at the end. He is incredibly protective of his brother, and was clearly hoping that something would happen between Sam and this girl which might go some way to healing Sam and helping him move on. It wasn't "You're in there, bro". You could see his face change to sadness when Sam walked away. p.s. sorry for the long comment! I'll try to keep it shorter next time.

A big issue is I cannot sustain more than one a week. People might say oh you have an extra slot now so you can do two a week and in theory there might be a couple months where that is true. However, in a couple months I could have six shows returning on top of all of the shows I'm already doing. I don't get to choose when shows return that I react to. And I already know the end of this year is going to be nuts for me. And if you think I can put out two reactions every week for a couple of months and then go back to one without a ton of backlash lol trust me, it wouldn't be pretty. I'm not saying you're saying that btw just explaining my thought process haha

Toasted Toad

That's fair enough. As I said, I've seen the same issue with other reactors. Those of us who don't react don't really understand how long it takes you (as obviously on our end, it looks like just 40 minutes, and YT even less), so it's very misleading. Much better to do what you can make a solid commitment to than try to do more and be unable to stick to it or feel overwhelmed and thus not enjoy it.

I think people who binge watch whole seasons in very short periods of time often forget that it may not be as easy and/or enjoyable for other people. Using myself as an example, I can usually watch 2-3 episodes of a show a night, but that's usually just one, sometimes two shows at any given time because any more than that it starts to become overwhelming. As for the fact of sometimes waiting longer for you to react to certain fan-favorite episodes of shows, sometimes that in and of itself can be good thing. I remember when you started reacting to Peter's run as the Doctor on Doctor Who, the anticipation of waiting for you to get to some of the really great moments and episodes sometimes drove me nuts, yet I knew that it didn't matter how long it took, and that your reaction to those moments would be worth the wait and they always were. Obviously other people may not agree, but that's the way I feel.

This video can no longer process. Can you fix that?

Thanks, Will wait, Great reactions by the way. You won't believe what is coming. I've watched every episode of the show.
