This is a dumb movie. But at least there's several kickass fight scenes to make it worthwhile. The major issue everyone pointed out at the time is that the first film's "bullet time" effects were rightfully praised as a great new way to portray an action scene back in 1999...which of course led to many other action movies copying it. And now here comes the sequel six years later, desperately trying to act like the effect is still just as fresh as before when it had long become passe. Also, the Wachowskis had a major falling out with Tank's actor, leading to the casual reveal that he'd died between films and replacing him with Link, who might as well just be the same character with how little effort was put into him. The Sense8 fans were understandably very relieved that this didn't happen with Capheus after similar issues with his actor, and they simply brought a new guy in for the same role.

I will say you seem to have a more positive attitude towards this film than most others do, particularly in regards to the Architect scene which most people still seem to hate that part of the film. You're issue with the fight/action scenes sounds similar to my thoughts regarding the rave/party scene in Zion, past the first minute of it I was saying, "Ok I got the point! Let's move it along here!" I agree in that I like Neo and Trinity well enough, but the "nauseating factor" as you put it was too much, and I don't quite have the emotional connection that the film wants you to have. I'm not old enough to have been able to have seen these films when they first came out, therefore I'm unable to convey how it felt to have to wait half a year I believe it was between the second and third film, but thankfully you only have to wait a month before finding out how it all ends. I'll admit the third film is the one I'm most excited to see you react to. I can't wait to see what you think of it.
