Well remembered on the Macra! I think Russel l T Davies thought, "what's the unlikeliest old enemy I could bring back?" I seem to remember having a big old smile on my face at the wonderful absurdity of that moment in Gridlock. (The animation, judging from the surviving clips of the real episodes, is doing them a LOT of favours here!)
