I truly believe this is the tightest, most perfect script ever written. Absolutely everything is important somehow, and on every rewatch you can pick up something new.

For me, that crown is still worn by Back to the Future, but Hot Fuzz is amazing in both scripted and unscripted ways.

I love that Edward Woodward from The Wicker Man (the 1973 version - great, great movie) has a small role as Tom Weaver, the Civilian Liaison for the Neighbourhood Watch Alliance. Tiny detail, but it just adds a little extra bit of pleasure for me.
