Hello dear patrons, danger strikes the arcade scene again.

Anyone who has been recent played Chunithm Sun with random "emulator" found online, has danger to lose all their data from their computer.

There was some kind of emulator/loader released for the game that deleted all files from the hard drive if ran after a certain date.

It is always dangerous to use loaders from rom websites or other sites with illegal content.

Hope this post saves at least some people from total HDD deletion.

We have included few photos about the issue from external site / discord.

NOTE:

We have gone to long distance ourselves to prevent anyone from causing harm to our users, including buying expensive digital signatures that cannot be forged by hackers.

How do you know that the TeknoParrot release is legit?

1. Downloaded ONLY from Official TeknoParrot.com site or our GitHub releases.

2. Check that main libraries/executables (TeknoParrot.dll, TeknoParrot64.dll, BudgieLoader.exe etc.) are SIGNED with a legit digital signature. (Digital Signature keys are only given to corporations with good reputation) See included picture titled "TeknoParrot Signature".

3. Stay away from obscure loaders you find online, if there is a game that TeknoParrot does not support, please let us know about it and we will add it as soon as we have time.
