Monthly Update #1 (Patreon)

Hey guys, this post may end up being a bit rambly. I'll try to keep it somewhat coherent. Essentially, while my Patreon has only been active for a week now, we are never the less out of February and into March and at the start/end of each month I want to do one of these Update posts.

To start with, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to all of you who pledged to me in February. The support I've seen over the last seven days has been absolutely amazing in boosting my confidence and affirming my desire to keep this going. It means a lot to me that each of you thought I was worth your money, even if a dollar may not seem like much. You all are making my dreams come true.

With that out of the way, let's talk about March! So far I have posted a new Patreon Post every day. It certainly seems to be growing my patron base at a nice constant race, and I intend to continue to do so moving forward for as long as possible.

The eventual hope of course is that I have enough Tier 3 Patrons and higher that I can fill every day with their Patron Requests. At that point I'll be making three hundred plus a month off of this Patreon and that will allow me to devote more of my time to making stuff both I and you guys enjoy. For now though, I am just getting started and thus have very few of the higher tier patrons. That means I have to find other things to fill each day with!

For now, this will mean that I will be working any Patron Prompts I get from Tier 2 Patrons into ideas I feel I can make something with. It also means that my current higher tier Patrons might get a bit more from me than is explicitly advertised. They are currently only -entitled- to what the Tier says they get, be it 1,000-1,999 or 2,500-3,999. However, with so many days in the month free, I'll more than likely be writing more of what they suggest then they are entitled to.

I'm saying this now because I don't want anyone to get used to it, if we continue growing at our current rate. There will come a time when I will have to actually follow my own rules regarding that. For now, they will remain relaxed.

This thing already feels way too long if I'm being honest. If you've read this far I really do appreciate it. Please feel free to post comments, questions, concerns, and criticisms in a reply to this and I will try to respond to all of you in a timely manner.
