Vibe Check Pt. 3 (Harry Potter) (Patreon)

Alrighty folks, with over 60% of the vote, you guys have made you preference for Time Travel Harry pretty clear!

This will be my next Harry Potter fic:

1. Time Travel Harry - A Harry Potter from an apocalyptic version of the future of his universe travels back in time to his Fourth Year with intentions of stopping the end of the world. How? Unification. Via lots and lots of sex.

Consider this post your chance to offer suggestions on how you want it to pan out. Like for instance, I am currently considering having Harry's older self arrive back in time at the exact moment his name comes out of the Goblet of Fire for the comedic value. But if you guys have other ideas that would be more interesting or feel like I'm missing out on opportunities by not having it earlier in his Fourth Year, I'm happy to take your thoughts into consideration~

That said, this poll is not about the jump off point, but rather something else entirely. Namely, the subject of genderbending. Specifically, genderbending Voldemort.

Should I make Lord Voldemort into Lady Voldemort for this story? To be clear, in this case the genderbending would be universal. Meaning Voldemort will have always been a woman, not somehow contrived to be turned into a woman by the resurrection ritual or something like that.

And yes, if we go the Lady Voldemort route, she'll probably become a rather important character down the line so keep that in mind.

I will say because this might be a polarizing choice, if there's not an overwhelming majority in favor of genderbending (say, 70%+) then I probably won't do it. Because I imagine the people who are against it will be WAY more against it than the people who are for it, most of whom will just want another woman for Harry to get with, hah.
