Alright, as expected, the overwhelming majority of my patrons want me to wrap up Professor Potter. 

I feel like I owe an apology to all of you for letting that story continue on for so long. Both to those who got attached to it, and those who didn't enjoy it. When I realized early on that I wasn't sure what I was doing with Professor Potter back in the first 10 or so chapters, I think I should have ended it there and done something else. 

I think it's safe to say at this point that my attempt at a 'soft reboot' was a total failure.

That said, let's talk about what comes next. I'll be wrapping Professor Potter up over the next 2-3 chapters, and then we'll be moving on to something new.

For that, I have three bare bones ideas right now for you to vote on.

1. Time Travel Harry - A Harry Potter from an apocalyptic version of the future of his universe travels back in time to his Fourth Year with intentions of stopping the end of the world. How? Unification. Via lots and lots of sex.

2. Private Eye Harry - A Post-Canon Harry bucks the expectation that he's going to become an Auror and strikes out on his own. While he's technically rich enough to live out the rest of his days in comfort, he hates the idea of sitting around doing nothing all day. So he goes about solving mysteries for beautiful witches.

3. Master of Death Harry - A MoD!Harry that discovers he's immortal and has stopped aging. So he travels the multiverse, bouncing from universe to universe with little purpose... at first. Eventually, he gets roped in by his 'Saving People' thing and can't help but intervene.

Keeping them all relatively vague for now and happily taking any suggestions on how to improve any of these three ideas.

Even if the private eye option doesn’t win, just a noir, classily dressed people fic always gets me. Loved your other private eye fics, so hopefully it has a chance. I think the time travel fic is good too, but I can only pick one option…

Here's hoping we get plenty of breeding. A fucked-stupid broodmare Pansy is rather appealing.

If we go down the Time Travel route I think it would be fun to have some success and some failure of using his future knowledge (maybe from having lived through the bits of the war plus the post apocalypse memories/skills). One such that might have a good punch is that some of his warning/tampering leads to Arthur's attack on him causing death (slow or fast). Which could also lead to one of the underutilized pairings of Molly/Harry (comforting her and also having been the one paying for the more expensive but unsuccessful treatments). I mean you don't know what sort of figure a witch hides under her robes ;) Prewets and Bones ladies might give each other a run for their money .

MoD stories always amuse me, if it gets chosen i hope is unapologetically overpowered. Always hated MoD Harry’s that are nerfed, plus with multiverses travel there’s buckets of places Harry can go and a whole multiverse of women. Failing that time travel is cool.

Hm, would the time travel be mental or physical? Like, is it his older taking over his younger self’s body or his more grown up self replacing young Harry physically(and saying he had a growth spurt)or pretending to be a cousin?

Mental I'm thinking edit: because the implication of older Harry replacing younger Harry's body is that younger Harry gets shunted into the apocalyptic future and not only is that a dick move, but also I have no intention of writing a split story following both Harrys. I hate those types of stories, because one side of the story is always more interesting than the other, causing me to skip a full half of the content and forcing me to wait for the part of the story I actually want to read to update again lol

Sounds good👍 Can have the takeover occur when Harry has that dream of Voldemort in his ancestral home at the start of the book. Only this time he gets taken over and its older Harry that wakes up that morning with plans for the World Cup and Weasleys already on his mind

I've dabbled in every idea under the sun at this point it feels like. Especially thanks to commissions. Though I think Time Travel Harry Potter might be one thing I've never done before. Or at least if I have my memory is failing me lol

Not on here by the looks of it, but I know I saw one recently. Checked FFnet, you have one on there called The Joys of Time Travel; Harry and Hermione traveled to the future to see theirs. It was a commission you did in 2018, but you posted it publicly in 2021.
