Monthly Update #5 & "How Did You Find Me?" Poll (Patreon)

And here we are once again! It's the start of July and I cannot believe how crazy June has been. Somehow, and I'm not expecting us to be able to ever top it, but somehow we ended up doing better in June than in May!

Technically, it was less growth people-wise, but at the very end of June the growth in dollars skyrocketed! I cannot believe we've made it over the $800 mark in such a short time or that we're just about over the $900 mark as well. It's unbelievable and amazing and I just don't know if I can find the proper words for how I feel. 

I'm feeling like a broken record here, but Thank You. Thank You from the bottom of my heart!

Now we will plateau. Not because I'm just going "Oh THIS month is where I need to prepare myself for a down turn!" but because we're literally near the max of what I can reasonably do for you all in a month! Pretty much all of my higher tier slots are now filled and already, every day of the schedule I have for July's Patreon Posts is filled with a piece for one of you guys.

So yeah, we might eventually go over 1,000 but I don't expect it in this month and that's perfectly fine. Because... well, go ahead and read what's coming next yeah? =)

Because of where the Patreon is at, I am able to actively sustain myself solely from writing now. I put in my two weeks last Thursday at the shitty retail job that's been sucking away at my happiness and my very life force for years now. (I won't insult you all by pretending I still have a soul or a heart, given what I write :P)

So yeah, big deal that. Going forward, writing for all of you has become my full time job. And once again, you have my eternal gratitude for making that a reality. Cheesy and sappy as it may sound, it's thanks to all of you and I'm typing that here to remind myself once again, because I never want to forget it.

On a related note, this means that I should be able to start my original novel close to the end of July. Coincidentally, my summer college courses which only lasted six weeks essentially end on the same week as my last days at my retail job. As such, I will have more time to commit to the novel in the last half of July and I intend to have the first chapter for you lot before July ends. (I'm writing this here and committing to it so that I basically HAVE to deliver. I've found that if I make promises, I usually push myself to deliver on them to avoid letting people down!)

So yeah, let's do a TL;DR now...

TL;DR: Thank you SO much for getting me to almost $900 in the month of June! Thanks to your support, I've put in my two weeks at my shitty retail job and am dedicating myself to writing for all of you full time!

The original novel you all voted on WILL be starting this month. I WILL have the first chapter written by the end of July.
