Patreon Devlog update 007: Backgrounds, character and auctions! (Patreon)

Hello everyone! We haven’t posted an update in a while, so this will be a bit lengthy hehe. There’s a lot of other stuff that’s difficult to show, because it either would spoil the story, or it’s just boring code, so We’ll just be showing you art for now xP

New Backgrounds

With the new chapter, a whole list of new assets need to be created, and now that we planned and ironed out the main parts of this upcoming chapter, we can finally move onto creating the new backgrounds we’ll need! (There’s some backgrounds from last chapter that we just finished here as well)

New characters

There will be a couple of new characters in the story. We’ve already started working on it and we’re pretty excited to show you more of it!

Auctions for cameos in backgrounds

Since the start, we planned to do auctions for your OCs to appear, both inside of the background, or as incidental characters with lines of dialogue in the game. We still need to plan properly on how to execute on it properly, but there will be a good amount of  opportunities to participate and get a spot! :3

There are still many things to work on and we’re slowly getting through all of it, despite being a small team, and in addition to all kinds of external factors that may slow us down for a bit. We’re working hard on creating something we can be proud of!
