It's come to my attention that you are all quite wonderful, but that a large number of you have already asked how you can help the podcast grow even more. To you guys and girls and to every other lovely patron, I want to pose the following 5 questions. By getting through each of these, (maybe answer below or email me wdfpodcast@hotmail.com if you want to talk in private) you'll be really helping me out and shedding some light on what you think of us on Patreon. With such feedback I can ensure that the podcast gets better and that it reaches even more people- yay! For shorthand, I'd love to know if you are satisfied with what we do on Patreon. Do you feel you're getting your money's worth? Do you plan on supporting into the future? If you could take the time even to give me a bit of feedback I'd really appreciate it. The aim is always to bring WDF to as many people and build up as many patrons as possible, because that way I can ensure that this really will be where history thrives! For the 5 questions, see below - 1) What do you like most and least about the podcast? 2) What is one thing you'd love to see us add to the podcast? 3) With regards to the Patreon—what are your first impressions of the page? Is there anything you think we could do better? 4) What drove you to support the podcast in the first place? 5) Would you consider taking up formidable challenge, and spreading the word of WDF on Patreon to someone you know? I have been greatly encouraged by your guys well wishes of support since I announced this was my part time job, but almost because of this change, I am eager to see that I reach out to as many history friends and potential patrons as possible. Now that you guys literally support my living, maybe you can think of someone else who would be willing to do the same? I know this is cheeky, but you guys are like my loyal history friend army - I would be a fool not to deploy you into battle! After all the support you guys have given me so far, it can't hurt to ask! I am as always, your very thankful history friend and host. Zack :)

Hi Zack, 1: I like most the way you bring to life the personalities of the characters and nations involved in the history. I like the least the banter 'talk' episodes 2: I'd like to see slightly more emphasis on how important battles played out once diplomacy failed 3: The page is great 4: Getting so much enjoyment from listening to it for free 5: The moment I meet someone interested in history they have a hard time getting me to shut up about it

1)I only leaned English history at schools, Europe was just a bunch of "them", so its great to learn about intra-European history. As with all podcast I hate changes in volume between episodes, especially in the gym, when it suddenly gets very loud. 2)just keep doing it. 3) I didn't pay any attention, just grabbed the RSS feed. 4) I'm happy to pay for podcasts that I enjoy, I 'have' to pay for a TV license and that's mostly rubbish, so I want to put money where my entertainment is. 5) I would, but I only know philistines....

I recognize that sources to make these possible cost money.

When Diplomacy Fails Podcast

Thankssss Tom, that is all much appreciated. I'm working on a load of things at once, but it's always encouraging to know that I have such great supporters out there :)
