I think Aerial is still in the data storm, so she could come back through the Caliban. On another note, this show will probably have a happy ending with the things being set up, oh Joe if this got you then Im sorry for what you'll have to go through with S2 of IBO 😞.

Think of Permet Link like a type of WiFi. And the data storm as a new technology that can takeover WiFi devices. The problem in this world is that everything uses Permet(WiFi). Imagine if your house only worked on WiFi, your doors, AC, Thermostat, Fridge, lights everything. If someone were to take away your ability to control everything in your house it would be a problem, and if your house happens to be in space where you have life support systems then the problem becomes catastrophic.

Interesting that Prospera also had a partial mark on her head... the one that appears when they try to access Permet Links via Gundams. It never made sense to me what Prospera's end goal was in flooding everything with data storms, and how doing so would "reunite" her with Eri. But now that we've seen she has that mark on her head, it makes me think that she also plans on joining Eri once everything is done and over with... maybe she experimented on herself as well, becoming partially intertwined with the data storms (or maybe only Eri, specifically).

No. I respectfully disagree. This was a GREAT episode. It tied up so many of the threads it needed to tie up before the finale.
