this series is a good warm up before monogatari, they have a number of similarities but this show is shorter and less extreme. both are great

I will say before i watch, that reacting to the movie after you watch the last episode is a MUST. It continues the story and wraps it up with a neat little bow. Lol

We’ll see if it jumps into my favorite romcoms. Currently it’s probably Kaguya. But I also really liked Horimiya and Oregairu.

Re-seeing this only cements in my mind that this is one of the best romances of all time, if only for the cute and funny interactions with best girl and sakuta. Monogatari is very similar in that sense, and it only beats this show in the sense that i love Hitagi's personality more and monogatari is nostalgic, being what got me into romance. Imagine watching Bakemonogatari when youve only seen no more than 15 or 20 anime xD
