I don't mind the dual storyline in this, it's pretty interesting to me. Kumo though, god that was boring as shit to me anytime it wasn't focused on Kumoko.

Yeah that’s why I sort of backtracked my statement. They absolutely bitched the human side of things in the anime, skipping out on a lot and minimizing the big moments they were supposed to have. I read the LN so I know how it was supposed to be and that’s why I think I brought that up as a comparison.
