From what I understand, the little pig with the flower is the child of the whale creature that they're in. And the family is keeping the flower rare by giving bounties for the flower and keeping the population of the whales low to reduce the supply. So Mazino is like an eco-terrorist and fucking up the blood diamond/flower grift

It will probably never be explained (I don't remember if the webtoon itself internally stated why he is inside the Tower to begin with, or if it was only stated in one of the blogposts by SIU) considering the anime adaptation for some reason skipped every single bits involving Phantaminum, but Urek basically only entered the Tower chasing after Phantaminum, who is an Axis (basically think of a god, w/ Reality Warping capabilities that can only be negated by an Axis w/ higher power than the one using the ability), and just outright warped inside the Tower for reasons we still don't know (who knows if we ever will know about them even by the end-game stage, cuz SIU kinda regretted adding Phantaminum to begin with to Tower of God from the Talse Uzer Story universe that his works are set in, including Tower of God), so Urek basically YOLO'd into the Tower as well, but by the time he got to the top in 50 years or w/e, Phantaminum had already fucked off from the Tower by literally just warping out again, so now he kinda wants to leave at any cost because he's somewhat of a rival of Phantaminum (self proclaimed or otherwise, doesn't rly matter, since he considers himself as such), so he's generally constantly orbiting in close proximity (by cosmic scale at any rate) to Phantaminum
