really hyped for this series, as a LN reader and original anime watcher. Interesting choice to change the gender of Lawrence's acquaintance and I wonder how it will change their interactions and I really loved the cameo at the beggining of the ep

It would seem that they intend to stay close to the LN this time around since Chloe was an anime only character used to try to elicit more of an emotional response from the viewer since she had considerable more screen time and interaction with Lawrence than the guy did in the LN.
