     Here's the finished Abbey-and-Paris commission. This kind of thing always looks better in pencil, I think. The gray tones allow for the depiction of textures, flushed skin, sweat, etc.  ...But I think you get the idea. Oh, and if the right side looks a little off, it's because my scanner always cuts off one end. There's actually a half-inch border on the right as well, but I can't seem to figure out how to stitch images together, so sometimes I'm stuck with results like this. Fun fact: the person who commissioned this actually asked for Abbey and Paris walking and holding hands, but I think I interpreted what he really wanted. And to the commissioner waiting on that portrait of his grandparents, it's on the way!
