Pencils from a M'Lady Story (Patreon)

     Here's a page from a different unfinished M'Lady story, called "The Challenge". Again, I went over and darkened the pencil lines so you can see them, but didn't add anything that wasn't in the original roughs. I did fix some wonkiness in her hands, though. The story itself is--or was--24 pages...unfortunately, the script is missing.

     Which brings me to my other point.

     I mentioned that I would be announcing my plan for this page following the current round of commissions and the Far West adult short, and here it is: I'm going to do a series of adult shorts, featuring characters from titles you're familiar with and some you're not. I've even got some planned based on some of the pinups and "Beauties and Beasts" pieces I've done. When enough are completed, I'll have them published as a trade collection, so there will be an actual physical, real world book version available. Stories already planned include characters from Far West, The Pound, Deja Vu, Slamhounds, Cathouse, M'Lady, Bushwhackers, and Creeps' End, among others. Here's the caveat, though: as I said, the M'Lady script is missing, and so are the others (those that were already written). So, I have to rewrite those, as well as write the new ones. That means part of my time is going to be devoted to writing for awhile (fortunately, the one part of comics that I'm not slow at is the writing--if only I'd gotten into the biz as just a writer...), so I may not post as often for a few weeks. Of course, I'll post sketches and WIPs as the shorts are developed. Stay tuned.
