     These are the other character designs for Becca from S.P.A.Z.: Special Protection Agent Z. You can see how different they are. They're both cute, but the first one has a much more serious, almost stressed or anxious quality, whereas the other seems more sweet and carefree. Back in the day I probably would have chosen which one to use based purely on aesthetics, but today I would more likely decide which one would fit in better with the premise and the other characters. Agent Z is over-the-top, gung-ho, prone to disastrous, spontaneous decisions and extreme actions. Kind of like The Tick. Theo, on the other hand, is sober, serious, and driven-- think Agent K from Men in Black. So which version of Becca would play better off of those two personalities? That's what I'd be looking for from a storytelling point of view.
