     As usual, I forgot halfway through this piece that it was supposed to be a work-in-progress presentation, hence the jump from inks to final render. Oops. But you can still see some of the evolution, like the removal of some details (like the window at upper left) to avoid clutter, and the addition of little details, like the tension wrinkles where the clips on the uniform straps grip the leggings. There was a little miscommunication with the commissioner over the character design, which brings up an important point regarding commissions: the artist can only make the character(s) as accurate as the description and/or reference provided. If there's a detail to the character, a power you expect to see displayed, etc., it won't be in the final image unless specified up front. So always keep that in mind when getting a commission: clear communication is vital. Pretty cool character, though, huh?
