Somebody Asked for Teddies...? (Patreon)

     Teddies with 'Tudes was one of the first comics I developed. (It never saw print, so don't feel bad if you've never heard of it.) It  was also one of the weirdest things I ever created, in terms of premise, and the secret of what's behind the whole thing. (Inanimate objects suddenly start coming to life and assume semi-humanoid form, for reasons unknown to the general public. It's about relationships, prejudice, and what people will do to survive, with an overarching mystery about what caused such a bizarre thing to happen, and why. I told you it was weird.) This cutie here is Aiko, one of my favorite characters ever. She's the best friend of P.J., one of the two main characters, whose design I would change if I ever returned to the project. The other lead was Leo, a living teddy bear and private detective. He pushes the mystery element, as well as providing the shoot-'em-up action. I'll give you a look at him sometime in the future.
