A Page from an Old Adult Title (Patreon)

     This is the first page of a title that started out  (as a number of my titles have) as an adult short, but I liked the characters and premise so much that I turned it into an ongoing thing. The gray-toned paper technique is time-consuming and makes it impossible to do as a comic, financially speaking (although you could say that for most comics these days), so I wrote it as an illustrated novel. (The above page is from an unfinished adult short, not the novel.) Set in an alternate reality where dog- and catlike animals evolved rather than primates, Bushwhackers tells the adventures of Tara, a brilliant but unworldly archaeologist, and Jonesy, her hard-fighting, hard-fucking bush pilot. It's a fun project, and one I wish I could have pursued. There were supposed to be three pages in this post, but the original pages have seen better days, so it took quite awhile to clean this one up. I'll have more for you in the future.
