Untitled Possible Beauties and Beasts Sketch (Patreon)

     This one may be a bit difficult to make out on a small screen; it has a lot of detail for a sketch.  The living creatures are made of carved stone, and the stone floating above the female figure's hand will be glowing and casting colored light over the scene.

     I wanted to have the finished, gray-toned "Above and Below" piece to share today, but this week took a bit of a turn.  That sweet face above is Boo. Or I guess, was Boo. She was sweet and smart and quiet, and she meant more to me than I can say.  We took her to the vet yesterday for a lump under her leg, and learned it was cancer, and it had already spread. We had to make the decision pet owners dread. I don't know if the house will ever feel like home without her.  I'm back working now; hopefully I'll have something to show in a couple of days.
