I'm currently hip-deep in commissions, but at least some of them can be shared here--and some are even relevant! Here we have a cute scene of the Boneyard cast (most of them, anyway--I didn't need more characters to squeeze in there!) as the crew of the Enterprise in Star Trek: The Next Generation... with a couple of exceptions. You'd think this would be a dream come true for a closet Trekkie like Glump, but it seems that sci fi nerds are never satisfied. Details are small because there's so much packed into this scene, but if you look closely, Sid is wearing a (completely unnecessary) bald cap to cosplay as Captain Picard, and Edgar is a Borg. He should really be plucked bald, with the Borg implants going in and out of his goose-bumped bird skin, but I wanted him to still be recognizable as Edgar, not a nightmarish little blob into steampunk. Sitting in the captain's chair is the commissioner's wife, in a rendering I'm not exactly proud of. As I told the commissioner (hey, David!), I can do really realistic portraits, and I can do my fairly lame cartoon style, but trying to render a real person in my lame cartoon style is apparently not in my wheelhouse at present. But I gave it my best. Hopefully it's well received, as it's a birthday gift.

     Oh, and Happy Birthday, Nat!
