Catching Some Sun (work-in-progress) (Patreon)

     This is definitely a first for me. I actually remembered to scan a work-in-progress in stages right from the beginning. I usually think to scan the original sketch, then forget to scan again 'til I'm two-thirds of the way through the piece.  And it just doesn't work as well to substitute text along the lines of, "...So, at first this part wasn't there, then I drew it...And see that part? You guessed it: it was originally blank...then I..." Well, you get it.  So hopefully I'll be bringing you the creation process of this piece from start to finish.  As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words, and this week I've got five. So I guess I just made a 5,000 word post.  No wonder I'm tired.
