A reader once tried to peg my age by analyzing my choices for Deja's clothing. This was a dead end for two reasons: First, as a homeless vagabond, Deja is dirt poor. Her wardrobe (which she keeps in a "pocket dimension" accessible via a portal she generates at will) is entirely sourced from thrift stores and flea markets. She's not concerned with how it looks or whether or not it's dated so much as if it will fit. (This is also why her clothing is often so threadbare.) And second, referring to the rest of my work, I simply do not give the tiniest portion of a shit about fashion. I dress my characters according to their personality, pulling costume elements from any and all eras to suit my purposes. Items like dresses, shoes and bathing suits I simply make up from whole cloth (so to speak). But as to the question of my age, the answer is...old. So, so old...
