     Just a sketch from my "little pinups" series. It's odd, but even though I've long drawn women with animal features, and I've done more than one series that could be called "furry", I really don't get the whole furry thing.  Not just in the insular nature of the art style, but the whole aesthetic. Not to mention that the furry culture has thoroughly fucked up the whole anthropomorphic genre. I'm not judging anyone, but it's aggravating when a group of people

     For me, there usually has to be some justification for the animalistic elements, such as a fantasy setting, or a scientific explanation, as in The Pound. But that's more about storytelling. For a simple pinup like the one above, it's the exotic aspect of combining human and animal that appeals me.  And to people in general, I think. People have been creating stories and legends about humans with animal features (and vice versa) since we started drawing on cave walls; probably sooner.  Plus, she's cute, don't you think?
