Thank you! Thank you! What a wonderful Christmas 🎄 present 🎁!!! I really enjoyed watching this with you. Mandela said “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire, it has the power to unite people, and in a way that little else does.” According to the United Nations, the 1995 World Cup was “to most people around the world, little more than a thrilling rugby match. But to the people of South Africa, it was a turning point in their history…” I was never into rugby. I think I remember hearing something about them winning a game, but I didn’t pay any attention to it. When I saw this movie I looked it up and was really amazed to find out how accurate it was. The plane really did fly over. I don’t know if you noticed but it said on the bottom of the plane “Good Luck Bokke.” Bokke was the shorthand name of the Springboks. The inaccuracy in the movie was that they made it seem like the captain did it alone and unexpectedly, but the whole crew knew. They had practiced it in a smaller plane. But no one else knew it was going to happen. By the way, this was before 9/11. Thanks again for the fun Christmas watch! 🎄🎄🎄
