I've been baking the final fluid bake for this project and noticed the fluid was getting cut off strangely (it was moving in the outflow near the domain boundaries, which is near the wall and door). I wasn't expecting it to go all the way near the wall and door like that so I figured "well, why not just make it so it hits the wall I guess."

But then I ran into a couple problems...

First, the fluid gets cut off on the bottom because the freakin domain was too short.

Second, the fluid flows down the wall obstacle way to quickly and I know this would be something that folks would point out. It's distracting and it gets to me when I try to present something horny but someone is like "this is weird" because like... idk it feels like it's sloppiness on my part.

So then decided to just copy the wall and door from the environment (instead of a simplified version as I was trying before) and also make force-field version of the obstacle (so that the fluid is attracted to the wall to counteract fluid sliding). The fluid on the picture frame looks good but for some unfathomable reason the fluid on the door slides down too fast.

Imo it would be better if it didn't slide down much... So I made a copy of the file, got rid of most stuff and tried to test a strong force field on *only* the door.

It's a short test but now, as you can see, it looks less slidey. This ended up being good enough, I let the rest of the sim bake and turned out fine (finally, after like 4 days of botched fluid sims). I also got the first part of the money shot setup for rendering (and rendered) and got the second part setup for rendering (and I rendered some lower res draft renders for it)

Getting the ready to render wasn't very interesting, just a lot of tweaking lighting and material stuff to try and get some nice lighting. It turned out I screwed up on the cloth bake in the first part of this, I accidentally took the lattice modifiers off the cloth collision mesh for the raptor's body. When I first saw this a week or so ago, I thought it was just a bit of clipping through the torso and figured "I can fix that with lattices on the baked cloth when I go to do the final renders for this" but when I went back to add the final detail things for rendering, I noticed the shoulder cloth was floating around the shoulder... oops. (which was because the collision version of the body didn't have the same lattices as the render version of the body)

It's fixed though, this is it around the same frame range. Here it is in the final render, behaving like cloth as you'd expect.

I've attached the current story board, the final renders version of the first bit and the draft renders of the second bit.

Also, I got the voice acting from the VA who voices Taylor (https://twitter.com/SukeBanchoR18, they did a great job!) and started animating that but haven't done much but basic lip sync so far (next post will have more about that) but the final VA is in the current story board.


Also, between rendering, baking etc... I've been working on codename Deep Dish, I was experimenting with testing soft bodies for the butt (better to get that figured out sooner rather than later), a different take on the dragon animation (like I thought it'd be hot if his mouth is more open and the tongue has a nice "compression" wind up and thrusting action, ideally there'd be some nice fluid splats from the hole, like some sweet candy pig juices mixed with saliva) more on this soon-ish.


Another thing I've been experimenting with on and off for awhile is modeling/rigging a p*ssy, I did a bit of stuff on this for fun. Still very early on but this was another thing that I thought about when first starting to use rigify ("using the stretchy chain rig type would be awesome for rigging labia" and as it turns out, it is!)

It's part of this water dragon-y, alien-y babe I've been working on now and again.
