During the Great Depression in London, Jhon, a former army officer and dock worker, struggling with unemployment, decides to take to the streets to make ends meet. Utilizing his physical attributes as a well-endowed stocky blonde bloke, he discovers his unique talents in fulfilling the fantasies of wealthy men.

After the Prototype, I want to go back to the ‘silent’ series as before, focusing on the images alone and letting the scenes tell the story by themselves. Besides, I don’t think this adventure needs many words anyway. The idea is to make short episodes - of two or three updates each - wherein the young hustler meets different clients at different places, exploring various fantasies and desires at several different locations.

I’m still not sure how the story will develop, but we’ll start at the docks and perhaps we'll go next to a posher part of town. After that perhaps a park, some dark alley, or a public lavatory. Another idea is that the main character is invited by a photographer to pose for some scenes. In this way, a whole range of other settings and costumes can be applied as well. Anyway, the idea is to follow the hero through a range of short hot scenes. I'm sure you'll get the idea, and your input is most welcome as always :o)

Character

A new project always starts during the final phase of an ongoing project, several weeks before the first update. So, after choosing a theme or storyline (Fantasies), and while completing the Prototype and working on the Deep Space animation, I started collecting materials for the new characters and settings. It always takes a while to get everything in place for the first scene. But once I have the characters ready and the main stage is set for action, I just let the models take over and go with the flow.

The main character of this series is based on two other models I’ve used before, Tommy in The Delivery and Braden in The Audition. It’s perhaps a bit of a character recycle, but I think they're interesting enough to be re-used for a third adventure and he fits the bill for a well-hung stocky blond bloke. Even so, it takes a while to shape and develop a character further. Many test renders are needed, also because the rendered model looks different in the design software.

Some test renders...

Settings

For the first part of the series, I’m using several 3D Sketchfab models to create the different London environments. This website offers a large range of models, generated from a series of pictures of real objects. This technique creates very realistic models from nearly anything imaginable. Although the quality often varies considerably, there are some very good creators, offering a large range of beautiful free objects from old buildings and interesting places in London.

Unfortunately, most of these only work for background and far-off shots. For interior and close-up scenes, I need to return to regular high-resolution and far more detailed DAZ 3D models. I’m still not sure where the series is going, but I have some models in mind, and I have a setting of a public lavatory mostly completed. I guess that will fit nicely into this story as well.

Chapter 1

Our adventure starts at the London Docks. It’s late, and the streets are deserted. I imagine Jhon leaning against the lamppost, smoking a fag, waiting for his first client of the night.

That client is M. He's on his way home after a long board meeting. He’s the financial director of a large shipbuilding company. He’s the “golden boy” of the firm. Bright, young, and ambitious. With his fortune and good looks, M can confidently look ahead to a bright future.

But M also has a darker side, with darker fantasies. When alone, he dreams about dangerous situations, in dangerous places, with dangerous, very dangerous men. And perhaps John is just such a man. A man who can do dangerous things to a successful man, a man with a career, and a reputation. Dangerous things “golden boys” should only fantasize about. Thins that two men can do to each other in the dark. Together. Alone.

For the start of the project, I used a model of the Spa Road station entrance combined with Stonemason's Streets of Old London. After crossing St John’s Gate, M runs through the vaulted undercroft below Lincoln's Inn Chapel, a place several times used in movies and TV dramas. For the background of the stairs, I used a model of the Whitechapel Bell Foundry, the place where famous bells like the Big Ben for the Palace of Westminster and The Liberty Beel were cast.

For the second part of this chapter, I used several models of the Thames foreshore, with old Victorian stairs, piers, and causeways. I can imagine that these locations are swampy, dirty, and very smelly places. But in this series, the shores are a romantic haven for, at that period, illegal encounters.

No London street view is complete without a classic old-style Bobby. So I had to add one somewhere, somehow. I thought a surveilling officer in the background would add some tension to the scene.  There’s not much out there for a 3D character, but with a few bits and pieces from other models, the uniform turned out quite convincing. The most remarkable part is of course the eye-catching helmet, which makes the uniform literally stick out. I was very fortunate to find a fairly accurate free model on STL Finder, a search engine for free 3d models. It’s even printable, so feel free if it makes your fantasies come true ;o)

While looking around for images of 1930s uniforms, I stumbled on an interesting piece about Sergeant Harry Daley, the first openly gay British policeman. A remarkable character with an interesting life, and I’ll make sure he pops up later in the series, as a tribute to this unconventional Bobby.

While working on the second half of this chapter, I felt I needed some additional scenes to contrast with the main characters. An additional event, like another couple joining in the background, makes switching focus possible, making the sequel a bit more interesting. For this, I used two old friends we’ve met before in The Commission series. It’s the sculptor and the athlete he used as a model for his masterpiece. The dark uniform of the latter was originally a vintage-inspired uniform for Lighthouse Keepers, but it turned out to be very well-suited for a chauffeur's outfit as well. Once I came up with the idea to add a luxurious car in the final scene, the uniform turned out to be a perfect match, adding a little twist to the tale at the end of the story.

Chapter 2

In the second chapter of the series, we move to another part of London. This time we turn our eyes to the city’s business and financial center, the district with its grand classical buildings, imposing white colonnades, and monumental high arches.

It’s a warm summer evening when we meet Alastair M, a bohemian young aristocrat and socialite. He is a member of the so-called Bright Young Things; a notorious group of flamboyant, decadent, rebellious, and glamorous party animals. He’s leaving an exclusive party at the Drapers’ Hall, on his own, because he has other plans for the remaining hours of that night.

For the opening scenes, I used a model of the Drapers Hall doorway, the magnificent place where the Worshipful Company of Drapers is based. Some of you may also recognize it as the film location for The King's Speech, Golden Eye, and The Lost Prince. It’s well worth a visit.

Another model that I’ve used is that of the Tivoli Corner, a columned passage by John Soane at the Northwest corner of The Bank of England. With the imposing Wellington Arch in the background, another stage is set for two ships that pass in the night. Perhaps this is the chapter where I’ll be using the public restroom mentioned above, but we’ll see how the story will develop from here on.

For the second part of this chapter, I needed a more secluded space. After experimenting with several models, I finally opted for one of Queen Caroline's Temple, a classical-style summer house overlooking the Long Water in Kensington Gardens. It is more in line with the buildings of the first part of the series and, by combining several of the same model with a few sculptures, the set gives a sheltered and mysterious atmosphere.

To add a bit more variation to the sequel of events, I threw in a few more bobbies into the story as well. By switching perspectives and adding a second storyline, the whole thing becomes a bit more dynamic and hopefully more interesting for the viewer.

At this point in the project, I must start working on the settings for the third and last chapter of the series, and I need to start with the preparations for a new project. It normally takes about three weeks to get everything in place, so it’s time to pick a theme, start developing a storyline, and begin collecting materials for the characters and settings. I haven’t decided yet, but I’m thinking about resuming the theme of The Garden of Eden and The Forbidden Fruit. At the end of the last chapter, the heroes of the story were left in a physical condition that is well worth exploring a bit further ;o)

Chapter 3

In the third and last chapter of this series, we meet Viscount X, a charming and elegant young eligible bachelor, with impeccable manners and good taste. But beneath all that polished appearance, he has many secret desires and a voracious appetite for hot tough guys, and one in particular. He’s a regular customer, dating at least once a week, for he has an insatiable desire to fool around with our well-endowed stocky blonde bloke.

This time we visit the Royal Botanic Gardens on a sunny afternoon. The idea was inspired by the Royal Greenhouses in Laeken (Belgium), a vast complex of monumental greenhouses I visited a few years back. An incredible location and an unforgettable experience. The main gate in the opening scene originates from St Giles In The Fields (London), and in the background, we can see the Rawlings Conservatory (Baltimore).

The interior is compiled from the renovated Abandoned Greenhouse mentioned above and an enlarged version of The Private Garden by Stonemason. The result is a perfect place to house many classic faun statues and the ideal stage for a steamy hot encounter.

The story of Sergeant Harry Daley is amazing! Yet another "Harry"!

priapus

Yes, looks like another one. Not sure he was a redhead as well :o|

ajmanhattan

Jhon seems pretty cocky. Will he have an encounter with the Metropolitan Police? Perhaps he'll become a Bobby himself!

priapus

Yes, he is and who knows? He has a dangerous profession, so it's probably inevitable ;o)

Gulliver

Priapus placed the buildings of "Drapers Hall Doorway" and "Tivoli " in the light of night and thus suddenly gave these beautiful architectures some quality of erotic mystery. Very much look forward to your London excursion Ch 2!

priapus

Thanks! Yes, isolated as these models are or placed in a different light, these buildings look far more interesting. Nowadays one would hardly notice them, for the City isn't exactly the place to be if one is looking for beauty ;o)
