Decided to watch this in light of the new Scream VI trailer…You guys should seriously consider doing a hard run on the rest of the series before the next one comes out in March. Unless obviously you’ve watched them since doing this reaction…If not…You’ve got just a little bit more than VI weeks…👀😉

I love this movie, it's so much fun and I think it has great characters. For me this movie isn't as much of a parody as it is very smart commentary on horror films, especially films from the 70's and 80's. It pokes fun a lot but also takes what is happening seriously, they aren't going full parody like Scary Movie. I love all the red herrings the film does, from thinking it could be Dewey, to showing the close up of the Sheriff's boots, the same boots we saw in the bathroom, the principle, And they purposely made Billy be so obvious that everyone would automatically not think it was him, we all thought "they wouldn't make it that obvious" but they did and it was brilliant. I'm glad you watched something with Matthew Lillard because he is a treasure and he really went all out in this, I just love him. Another movie of his that I would love to see you react to is Thir13en Ghosts! So here's some fun facts. Yes Drew Barrymore at the time was the biggest star when this came out and not only that but she was in all the posters and advertisements, everyone was shocked that not only did she die but she died in the first 10 minutes. She was originally suppose to be the Sydney character but she chose to be killed off in the beginning so that way the viewers from then on knew no one was safe. One of the reporters was Linda Blaire who played Regan from the Exorcist. Rose McGowen (Tatem) actually could fit through the cat door, lol and if you listen real close you can hear her start to cry out to her mom which is so sad to me. And most of Matthew Lillard's (Stu) dialog was improvised, like him crying about his parents being mad at him, the houston we have a problem here, I always had a thing for you Syd and my favorite when he goes off on Billy when he hits him with the phone. That one is great because that wasn't planned, Skeet Ulrich (Billy) did it on accident, his hands were slippery from the fake blood so Matthew just went with it and it's definitely one of my favorite lines. Dewey was suppose to die but because test audiences loved him so much they brought him back which was the best choice. And when Sydney (her body double) stabs Billy with the umbrella the second time she missed his padding and Skeet actually had some sort of heart condition and she actually hit it so that reaction from him was real. It's still debatable who was in the suit Skeet or Matthew but when Randy is telling Jamie to turn around that really is one of them in the ghostface suit which they usually weren't in it. And what makes that scene even funnier is Randy's real name is also Jamie so he's pretty much yelling at himself to turn around, lol.
