A beautiful and inspirational story of a man overcoming obstacles to achieve the ultimate goal in life . Living a fulfilled and loving life with his family . The score is composed by James Horner , who also composed the music for Apollo 13 and Braveheart . It is one of his most complex and beautiful scores he ever composed . He passed away in 2015 while flying his own plane .

So, John Nash was definitely a real person. And while the story was highly dramatized, he did deal with all the mental illness that the movie portrayed. It's a fascinating story! Sadly, he and his wife died pretty recently (2015) in a car crash.

It was fun watching your reaction with you not knowing anything about the movie. I saw it in the theaters when it came out. I think most everyone knew what it was about, but the reveals about how much of his life and the people he interacted with were not real were still a shock.
