Hey Patrons! Welp, not an amazing flight, and I kinda hate saying this because of how cliche it is, but we can still learn a lot! The thing I'm most exited about is how accurate our Kalman filter looks in spite of some pretty iffy GPS data. The big thing to fix for the next flight is going to be how wiggly and sloppy that TVC mount is. We "can" fly with the current one, but it requires me to dial down all the gains so much that we don't have tight control over position/velocity. 

Good actuators + good mechanics = good rate control = good attitude control = good velocity control = good position control

I don't have a flight date for flight 3 yet, but I'll keep you posted as I redesign these parts!

Looking good Joe. I really enjoy the videos regardless of outcome. Learning something is the best part. Getting to see how you're doing this is the point, not so much the trick at the end. Also, I was wondering; would it make sense to get a bit higher to give the rocket more time to correct, or does that make things too much faster, heavier, etc?
