Hello,

I finished refining all the elements of Dejah Thoris today, and this is the final result of my sculpture. It's been a while since I wanted to make a Dejah Thoris sculpture, and even though my design choices probably won't please everybody, at leas this was a very fun project to work on. I especially liked the opportunity to work on a creature, which is something I do only rarely.

Now I'll start working on the renders and the 3D printing preparations.

She'll be released on January 3, 2024.

I think that your Dejah Thoris Princess of Helium figure (from Edgar Rice Burroughs' John Carter of Mars series) looks great! The only choice that I question is sculpting her barefoot. I believe that she is commonly portrayed wearing sandals -- which makes sense to me.

As a postscript, I read the first book in the series when I was a kid. I then went on to read the complete series of Edgar Rice Burroughs books while in college, during the mid-1970s.

She looks great! You can find her in the book series by Edgar Rice Burroughs (There were 11), the ill-fated Disney flick John Carter (dressed far more than she should have been but it was Disney still the actress playing her was perfect visually for the role), and Dynamite comics where she and John have their own series. I have one premium SideShow figure and she's it. Check her out, she is worth the research. She is a great choice for a figure. They exist but there aren't many out there and most of the 3D prints aren't that great.
