Hi!

Pose 2 won the poll for Rayne, and here I go with the first refinement steps :) I had already prepared her head and blades, since I'd use them with any pose, and now they help us visualize what we may get with the final result.

I think I have all everything in place at this point, and it's a matter of refining all of her elements until completion. I'll keep posting my progress as usual.

She'll be released on May 2, 2023.

quick suggestion: can you maybe redo the design of how those blades attach to the arms, I can just see those snapping right off those thin hinges, what do you think? also can those blades be separate pieces from the arms? something closer to this pict? https://www.bloodrayne.net/pictures/bloodrayne-2/br-cosplay/br-cosplay-02.jpg

That makes perfect sense, thank you for mentioning that. I tried replicating the weapon as precisely as I could based on references, so it hadn't crossed my mind that the blades would be too weakly attached to her wrists this way. I'll replace the thin hinges by a more robust cylinder, and then I'll also attach the blades' grips to her arms part to give it more stability. Do you want the blades to be printed separately from the arm, or do you want a version of her arms without the blades?

FISHING CAT

Ideally blades separate from arms. I usually print thin parts like blades in a tough resin. Would also be cool to add a m35 helmet to the base or a crumbled eagle. You know she fights Nazis so it would be good to see some kind of triumph if she’s taking a break in that pose.

Yes, I'll separate the blades for better printing, like you said, and thank you for the base suggestions, as these are the ideas I mostly like to receive :) I'll add a helmet and see if I can make something else to go with it.
