Hello,

Moving on with Galadriel, today I worked on her hair and body, and started refining her dress. You can see the current results here. 

One thing I'd like to discuss more, though, is with regards to the object on which she's leaning. Initially, I intended to make just a ruin, but I received a suggestion to make a harp instead. I like it, but at the same time I'm not so sure I can make it work well for printing, especially concerning the strings. What do you guys think?

She'll be released on September 2, 2022.

So I agree that a harp would give folks more angles to view the figure from. As to strings, what if the harp had a spot to run threads through to create strings. It wouldn't be 100% printed but it would look awesome. Those that didn't want to deal with it could just imagine the fine settings as there.

I think it looks great, thanks for trying it out! As others have suggested, I'd probably leave out the strings and then string some fishing line through there instead!

That's the best solution too, in my opinion :) Tomorrow I'll see if I can create a harp with a structure that would make it possible to use real threads in it.

That's what I intend to do :) I'm still not sure if I'll include the harp, but I'd like to offer it as an alternative version to those interested in it.
