Hey Patrons & Supporters!

Only you folks can see this post because you've supported us! Thanks again for helping out. We sincerely appreciate it. This is my first patrons-only post -- I'm going to keep them more styled like informal blogs (for now, at least) to keep things nice and easy. We'll leave the harder reading for the analytical articles.

Last night, we spent a huge amount of man hours rebenching every card we've got. Going from 11am through 6am, I was joined by Patrick Stone -- my hardware editor and lab technician -- and Keegan Gallick to produce content. I spent the previous night installing a new shelving system and cataloging our video cards (shown in the photo) for significantly improved efficiency.

Keegan took to the cameras and lights to produce a new video (yet unreleased -- it focuses on R9 300 series overclocking and will unlock tonight or tomorrow). Patrick Stone tested about 6 video card configurations on our new X99 rig.

Speaking of which, I've built a new X99 test bench for high-end GPU testing. The CPU was provided by iBUYPOWER and is an i7-5930K using Kingston Predator DDR4 memory. This will be used for all multi-GPU benchmarks to eliminate CPU bottlenecking. The Z97 bench -- for now, at least -- will remain in use for video game benchmarking.

Patrick and I spent several hours automating some of our critical tests that do not require an active observer. This will greatly improve efficiency going forward.

More news to come!

(This bit is just a test -- does HTML work here?)
